Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included an presidential candidate as well as hosting a television show on MSNBC. She's also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made the decision to cancel the show in the month of May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a cohost of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been featured on various network shows, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time together with Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new interest in politics to her experience after becoming an expectant mother in the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She saw how it affected the people of Jordan and gained a greater appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District in the election of 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
